It came no surprise that Kyler Murray went number 1 in this year’s draft and hopefully bring same form he had at Oklahoma. With Murray having a total of 4361 throwing yards for 42 touchdowns this made also earn himself the Heisman trophy which show’s he was best player in college football. In addition to this size does not scare the Cardinals with him being 5 foot 8. This is a special story as he is multiple top ten draft pick in football and baseball and will hopefully be the next big thing. The surprise of the night was the New York Giants decision to pick Duke quarterback Daniel Jones as the 6 pick in the draft. This came as a shock for giant fan’s who showed their anger at Giant stadium and was question by many experts as Eli Manning successor and were quite worried as his last season with Duke seeing Jones had a total of 237 completions for a total 237 yards this included 3 touchdowns. On other the hand the Champions New England had the 32 pick and made the right decision in drafting N’keal Harry a wide receiver from Arizona State . He had a bright last season with the wide receiver having a total of 1,008 yards and scoring 9 times on 73 receptions. He will be a smoky and might be a good asset for the Pat’s in the future. Overall this draft show’s changing mindset of teams and changing face of the quarterback.

There’s going to be some obstacles to overcome for Kyler Murray and the Cardinals, but they’re banking on him becoming a special player down the road. The challenge is reining in the mistakes and developing his pocket presence. — Daniel Jeremiah

Gold Coast Suns are they the real deal ?

Alex sexton celebrating that amazing goal

I know some might argue that Gold Coast suns have not play anyone yet even though a win is a win against Carlton on Sunday. The Gold Coast Suns have proven wrong this season with 3 wins and one tight lost against St Kilda they have energise this barren part of the AFL plan of expansion and maybe silent their doubters. A great story is coming out of this obscure part of the AFL. For example Alex Sexton has been at Gold Coast since the start in 2011 and was drafted pick 88 in 2011 draft. Sexton has back off a chance to play in Melbourne with big clubs but has not done same as his former teammate Tom Lynch did and proving to the club why he was most improved player in the club last year to now with his excellent form this year. Sexton has average 3 goals a game this season and play amazing as just prove goal on Sunday. In addition to this home state boy Jack Bowes has been lighting it up for the suns who also has a comeback story. The young man is coming back from an quad injury which was suffered last year. And look like he came stronger then ever with averaging 23 disposals a game. Furthermore Gold Coast have proven to the AFL the pathway system does work as multiple players on their list are from VFL an example of this is Sam Collins who won the VFL JJ Liston Trophy at Werribee and now has came into the AFL and prove the doubters wrong especially Fremantle who maybe kicking at themselves over delisting him in 2014. The defender has provided great help to this young defence with averaging 5 marks a game. Yes I know people will be wondering it’s only round 4 and yes the Sun’s have got long to go as team but Stuart Dew who was pass down by Carlton is maybe chance finding his chance at Suns. And maybe this obscure place might just bring AFL back to it’s glory day’s in the state of Queensland and the Q clash in two weeks time might be just the blockbuster that everyone hope for. So no matter what happends this week for the Suns against Adelaide which will be a tough ask. They have made Queensland footy proud again and to prove a point their was more coverage on them then ever before in Queensland. So hopefully the Suns keep roll up as it is great for footy and might make the CEO of the AFL Gillon Mclachlan sleep well at night about his decision 7 years ago in creating the Suns.

NBA Preview Playoffs

DENVER, CO – MARCH 12: Torrey Craig #3 and Monte Morris #11 of the Denver Nuggets react to a play during the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 12, 2019 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. NBA playoff’s only day’s away. Firstly let’s talk about Spurs vs Nuggets. Nuggets are coming off one best regular seasons since 2011 and have been firing at all cylinders, with Niklola Jokic at his prime and showing why he was drafted so high. Furthermore Nuggets have been surprise package and will looking to win the series against the Spurs. On the other hand Spurs have been quietly talk up and look like better then 7 seed at the moment. This series won or lost at the paint with Denver Game plan replying heavily on Nikola Jokic who had 29 points and 14 rebounds in is last game ,while Spurs game plan is base around De Mar Derosan and La Marcus Albridge who both had 20 point plus games in the last regular season game of the NBA. I predict the Nuggets to win in 5 games and it will be tighter then expected.

Warriors VS Clippers

Kevin Durant

Warriors vs Clippers this contest might be a blowout. The Warriors have been outplaying everyone since the high profile moves of Kevin Durant and De Marcus cousins came to the Warriors. The team has stronger then ever even though Golden State were vulnerable in parts of the regular season, I think Golden State were waiting for the playoff’s. Even though Golden State did lose to the Grizzlies in last game of the regular season it is not fair reflection on Golden State capability when comes playoffs as seen last year. On other the hand Clippers would be glad just be apart of the playoffs with biggest lost being Tobias Harris leaving them for the 76ers but in saying this the Clippers still have playoff experience and help further with beating Utah in last game of the regular season in overtime with Montrezl Harrel having 24 point’s and 7 rebounds and will be key to beating Warriors. I think this mismatch and the Warriors will stay true to what they are. Warriors will Sweep Clippers.

Rockets VS JAZZ

LOS ANGELES, CA – APRIL 3: James Harden #13 of the Houston Rockets shoots the ball against the LA Clippers on April 3, 2019 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. Houston vs Jazz this series will be tightest out of all western conference series. I think most evenly match and I think Jazz fly under the radar with Donovan Mitchell who had quality regular season and averaging 22 points a game, but in saying this Houston have the “beard” James Harden will do anything to win the series and has been averaging 24 points a game. In saying this Harden have been seen to carried team but if playing well why would not pass to him. I think both teams are quality and I think series will be tight. Houston to win 6 games and will be very tight.

Thunder VS Trailblazers

Again both OKC and Portland have gone under radar. Forget Kevin Durant Paul George came in and show why he is worth the money with averaging 28 points this regular season even though will be injured for game one I think he will play. In saying this OKC team is quality with Russel Westbrook and Paul George having great chemistry has made their team this season. In saying this Portland on the other hand have a two players who just as good his name is Damian Lilliard who is averaging 25 points a game in the regular season and CJ McCollum who has averaging 21 points a game in the regular season and their chemistry have been equally good as Paul George and Russel Westbrook. This will be tight and I think who ever wins will be up there in the western conference finals. I . predict Thunder to win 6 games and should be a classic

Russel Westbrook

76ERS VS NETS

This is a miracle for the Nets they are team who not made the playoffs since 2014- 2015 season and have a quality player in D’Angelo Russell who is averaging 21 points a game in the regular season. In saying this those the 76ERS are just quality with their team and with the Aussie Ben Simmion at the fore front in their plays and having Tobais Harris who has came into the team and show’s why he was worth the money with him averaging 18 points a game in the regular season. Furthermore the rise Joel Embild and Jimmy Butler has made their team unstoppable but the 76ERS will be wary as Emblid might miss game 1. In saying this I see 76ERS being too strong for the NETS . I predict a sweep for the 76ERS.

Tobias Harris

Bucks Vs Pistons

Again Pistons are a miracle as well with first making playoffs since 2015-2016 season . This be tricky for them with them heavily replying on Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin get them over line and is not clear if Griffin will play. In saying this those both players exceeding expectations but will they be enough to defend against the “Greek Freak”. The “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo has showed next big thing in the NBA with averaging 27 points this regular season and the Bucks showed they are the next big thing. Furthermore the Bucks will be determined to make the Eastern Conference Finals and I think they will dominant this Series. I predict a sweep unfortunately I think it is great that a team was the lowered end ladder last season to make the playoffs is a great effort and I applaud the Pistons for the season.

“The Greek Freak “

Raptors Vs Magic

This will be a interesting series but I think Raptors will be much against the Magic with Kawhi Leonard averaging 26 points this regular season and Kyle Lowry will performs at the playoff level as seen before. In saying this the Magic have quality and experience players with Aaron Gordon and DJ Augustin who average 15 points a game in the regular season, have been apart of a team which has been hampered by the injury to their star centre Mohamed Bamba who has been elite for the magic. In saying this the Raptors look to be too strong for the Magic and I think Raptors will win 5 games and but should be close.

OG Anunoby

Celtics Vs Pacers

This will be the most even in the eastern conference as both teams are certainly up there and want to prove the rest of the NBA they are true contenders. In saying this the Celtics are have more playoff experience then pacers and have a player like Kyrie Irving who is proving his move to Celtics as the right called with this season averaging 23 points this regular season and proven to be effective in playoffs as seen at his stint at the Cavs. The injury to Marcus Smart will make it tricky for Boston as he is crucial to their game plan but have experience in playoffs with players such as Jayson Tatum who averages 15 points a game in the regular season. On the other hand the Pacers have players who in my opinion are under rated and showing since the Paul George move what they made off with Bojan Bogdanovic averaging 18 points this regular season and young gun Domantas Sabonis averaging 14 points this regular season and crucial to the Pacers game plan. In saying this the Pacers will be missing their star Point Guard Victor Oladipo who is injured and will miss the playoffs. I think Celtics will be too much but will be tight contest. I predict Celtics to win 6 games.
